Besides avoiding waste because we harvest just what we get eating.<\/p>\n<p>I live at a house and I have the privilege to get space to plant many greeneries and vegetables, but if it is not your case, do a vegetable garden of spices, that are easy to take care of and much aromatic. You might have some parsley, basil, rosemary, chives, among many others, besides having these wonders at hand, they get beautiful in smalls pots. And something tells me that you will like so much that experience that you will get finding more space to wide your vegetable garden.<\/p>\n<p>Look at how it is my vegetable garden here at home:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/epvgGyu4QZ4\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2>How to do a vegetable garden at home<\/h2>\n<p>Any small corner in your kitchen, balcony, or gourmet area can turn into a vegetable garden, and the tip that I have given you on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lumarinho.com\/en\/dicas-para-decorar-varandas-de-todos-os-tamanhos\/\">post about terrace\u2019s decoration<\/a>, also is useful for this case:  if you do not have a lot of space, use pots at the wall and make a vertical vegetable garden or even aerial. The most important is that the place receives around four hours of sunshine daily, thereby your vegetable garden will grow up strong and beautiful.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1900\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lumarinho.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/como-fazer-uma-horta-8.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"554\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.lumarinho.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/como-fazer-uma-horta-8.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/www.lumarinho.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/como-fazer-uma-horta-8-300x162.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.lumarinho.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/como-fazer-uma-horta-8-768x416.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.lumarinho.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/como-fazer-uma-horta-8-16x9.jpeg 16w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>How to prepare the vase to the vegetable Garden<\/h3>\n<p>Choose a vase approximately one span in height (about 20 cm), and with a hole on the bottom part to leak the excess water.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Put a layer of expanded clay small balls in the bottom of the vase, they are spongy and will help in the drainage, besides being a kind of reservation of water to plants.<\/li>\n<li>In the sequence cover with a membrane of drainage to avoid the earth gets away with the water.<\/li>\n<li>It is time to add earth, buy that which is specific to the vegetable garden, and already comes with the organic substrate, with hummus for instance. It has even in the market. The ideal quantity of water depends on the climate, air humidity, and kind of vegetable. I have a \u201cmaster trick\u201d to know when I should water my vegetable garden. I put a finger into the earth, if it gets out clean, means that plant needs water.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes it is important to fertilize your vegetable garden, when going to buy it, choose organic fertilizers to guarantee you and your family will not ingest any pesticide.<\/p>\n<p>There are some recipes of <a href=\"https:\/\/acientistaagricola.pt\/adubo-caseiro\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">homemade fertilizers<\/a>, done by banana peel, eggshell, coffee grounds, that, besides natural, you will re-use the waste of foods that you would throw away the trash.
